Flatstalker faq's

Q-HOW STABLE IS IT?

A- It is remarkably stable due to the suction cup hull technology. That having been said, it's floating and anything floating will move. We will tell our new Flatstalker owners to move slowly and deliberately on their new craft until they begin to anticipate the crafts reaction to their movements after which time they should experience no problems. If you plan to use a trolling motor, we strongly suggest you practice using your craft and become comfortable with its movement before using any motor.

Q-HOW MUCH WILL IT DRAFT?

A- About 3"

Q-WILL IT TIP OVER?

A-It's almost impossible to tip this craft over! You can jump up and down on the edge of the craft and you will fall off before you tip it over. However, forces beyond your control could up-end the craft such as a large boat wake could turn you over if you are not prepared.

Q-CAN IT SINK?

A- No, the hull is completely foam filled and unsinkable.

Q-WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS?

A-11 ft. long, 35 inches wide and 6" thick

Q-HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH?

A- The hull is 80 pounds and the removable console is 40 pounds.

Q-WHAT HOLDS THE CONSOLE TO THE BOAT? WHY ISN'T IT TIED DOWN?

A-Gravity and its uniquely engineered design allows you to adjust the console fore and aft so as to help distribute the weight and keep the craft as flat as possible in the water. The suction cup hull works best when all of the suction cups are in contact with the water.

Q-DO I NEED A TROLLING MOTOR?

A- No, but if you choose to use one we recommend a 40lb thrust trolling motor

Q-WILL I NEED TO REGISTER MY FLATSTALKER?

A- Most states Parks and Wildlife require you  register your Flatstalker ONLY if it is motorized.

Q-HOW WELL DOES IT PADDLE?

A- It poles better than it paddles and it paddles adequately. It is not a kayak. Kayaks were made to paddle first and fish second; this craft was made to fish first and paddle second!

Q-WHAT IS THE WEIGHT LIMITATION?

A- It can float over 400lbs.

Q-WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR THE FLATSTALKER?

A- One Year Defects and Workmanship, replacement upon inspection, Company discretion after one year. Your Flatstalker should last for years as long as there is not repeated abuse!

Q-WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE FLAT STALKER?

A-Prices start at $995.00. That includes the Flatstalker and console/ice chest/storage,Stiffy paddle/pole and the stainless steel trolling motor bracket. Additional accessories are available.

Q- CAN TWO PEOPLE RIDE THE FLATSTALKER AS LONG AS THEY ARE UNDER THE MAX CAPACITY?

A- Flatstalker does not recommend more than one person at a time on the craft. CHECK BACK SOON FOR TWO MAN CRAFT! COMING SOON!
